Nick,

How far are you from Madison, WI? I would enjoy training KB sport with someone on occasion.

Re: Why do you train?

I love CF cos I never get bored.
I love being able to compete against myself and other people (even if that's just in my head).
I love a physical challenge.
I love being a strong girl.
Hard to be depressed when I'm doing a CF session (or any hard exercise, really).
I just like exercising - it feels good!
Naked good looks are a bonus.

Re: Why do you train?

To be a balanced human being. Being wise alone is not enough. Being fit alone is not enough. The mind and body are a singular unit.

Because it's just the right thing to do...and my fat roommate ate a bag of chips for breakfast.

Thats so funny.. My college roommate used to say he was on a diet and then would come back to the room with a pizza, bag a chips, and a 2 liter of coke. Finish it all and say he needed to go workout..

I think I saw him at the gym once over the course of 8 months. He was reading a book on a bike.

Seriously.
Classic... I can't imagine I am the only one who remembers that from Conan the Barbarian. Read an interesting tidbit about that the other day btw. I saw the quote attributed to Ghengis Khan, I then remembered it from the Conan movie. I guess the movie was infinitesimally more cerebral than I thought

My next thought was... Did the filmmakers intend to imply that it is really a Conan quote that Ghengis Khan took as his own or that Conan was well-read enough on his world conquerors to know that was a saying of Ghengis Khan's? I also thought it was funny to picture Conan hanging out with the Khan.

It is also faintly disturbing that your name is Seiler, makes me think of Heroes

Re: Why do you train?

- To lose the enormous amount of excess weight that I've been carrying around for most of my life
- To be a better man for myself, a better husband to my wife, and a better son to my mother
- So that when my children arrive, the only way they'll know their father was fat is by looking at old pictures
- The men in my family are prone to kidney disease, especially the overweight/obese ones. Genetics may be working against me, but I ain't gonna do it any favors.

To get stronger, bigger and to be able to pick people on my back and run with them and to be heavy enough so they can't

Possible breakdown by age group

30's: For looks and strength
40's: For looks, strength, and health
50's: For looks and health

Nice break down.. But I'm in my 20's and I want strength! Actually I want to be like superman. Really only for the x-ray vision.

Does doing crossfit give you x-ray Vision?
