Zone Omega 3 fish oil vs. store bought fish oil

Is there really that much of a difference? If you read the Zone description of their product, all others are inferior, and will do you no good. What has been you experience with store brand fish oil?

carlson's fish oil which is a Norwegian product is VERY good.. high epa and dha mgs. oil is 1.5 grams..
heavily screened for mercury and toxics.

the gnc ultra or triple strength is good as well.

alot of fish oil is low quality.. ie epa and dha
if you read the label the low qual stuff will read
lipids 1.5 gm epa 180 dha 60 then if your re read the label its per two caps .. or i have seen per 4.

the carlson is 1 gm 600 and 480 per Capsule.
far superior and is a tad cheaper than gnc... if you score gnc on the beginning of the month during their 10 percent off deal... or a buy one half off on second.. its not bad of a deal.

I am currently taking an oil blend (Udo's Choice) of omega 3 - 6 - 9 and some other stuff. Would I be better off just taking omega 3 alone, since it seems that we don't need any extra omega 6. Also, is it necessary to take omega 9?

One last question is it a good idea to take flax along with omega 3?

I have seen products that combination of fish oil, flaxseed, and borage
to me imho is like fortifying something that was there in the first place but lost during a process.

is omega 9 necessary... hmmmm... its found in heavily in olive oil and is not an essential fatty acid so the body is going to convert some unsaturated fat to make it. So is it necessary... again .. my outlook? I rather use olive oil and vinegar on my salad or from nuts.
