Anyone use stall mats in a martial arts gym? How are they on your bare feet?

I have stall mats in my home gym and love them, for the use with wieghts, but if I was going to be rolling around on the floor, I would want something differnet. Ya, I do my sit ups and such on them, but they are not far removed from the concret itself.

Not sure, but the mats to get VERY slippery when wet. Either lots of sweat or very high humidity (90 degree range). I've had to shorten or alter a few workouts due to humidity.

That's good to know, it get's very humid and sweaty in the gym.

We won't be rolling on the stall mats, just stand up.

Horse stall mats are great for Muay Thai in my opinion, you will need a break-in period for your feet to get callused up in the right spots. As far as slippage I have never experienced any problems, even through workouts in 90-100 degree heat where I was sweating buckets. It is very dry up here in Chico so we don't have any humidity problems.
