Does anyone know where i could purchase a 20 pound medicine ball in the SF bay area?

I don't want to pay for the shipping of something so heavy.

Jared, I really don't know of any decent equipment suppliers in the SF bay area--I went through this when I was looking for equipment (don't know about So. Bay though). Most of the medicine balls you see at places like Sportmart are only 12# or so. I ended up getting a Dynamax ball from Amazon, of all places, and only paid around $15 in shipping, which is not bad.

Now if you don't mind driving to Sac, Sacramento Exercise equipment co. might have what you need.

Consider making your own:

These balls are dirt cheap and good for wall-ball; not so good if you need one that will bounce. Besides my 20-pounder (from a basketball), I made one out of a "child's" basketball (smaller diameter) that weighs in about 12 pounds; it's good for Hooverball.
