This is our first post.... My husband has been doing this previously... (See Hammy's Journal)

We now have more recruits to the Crossfit crowd so I have started our own journal...

Todays Workout....

3-3-3-3-3-3-3
Deadlifts

Tricia, Denise, Rebecca and Carol

Rx'd with lighter weight due to Denise and Rebecca just starting and equipment restrictions in Gym

95lbs

all of us could have done more weight... really worked on form. Great start for the newbies.}}

Spring Break Here in Alabama....


Complete as many rounds in 20 minutes as you can of:
5 Pull-ups
10 Push-ups
15 Squats


Denise, Carol and Rebecca

20 rounds in 20 minutes...... Way to go Denise!!!

135 pound Hang power cleans, 10 reps

Carol 45lbs. HPC beginner pullups, bar dips for muscle ups

Friday March 23

Filthy Fifty...
For time:
50 Box jump
50 Jumping pull-ups
50 Dumbell swings,
50 steps Walking Lunge
50 Back Extensions
50 Push press
50 Back extensions
50 Wall ball shots
50 Burpees
50 Double unders

Trish and Carol 12 lb dumbells for wall ball and 25 lb dumbell for kettleball swing

rebecca, corinne and denise 10 lb dumbells for wall ball and 15lb dumbell for kettleball swings
shortened reps of burpees and double unders

time around the 31 minute mark... we left off some exercises in this workout... cannot find the full workout and am researching this..... therefore our times were considerably faster....

small group today... Trish, Denise and I... the early morning crowd at our Y thinks we have lost our mind... We set up our stations and yelled at each other when it was time to change... one man in a USAF t-shirt was shaking his head periodically and when he left said "you ladies have a great day"... he thinks we are certifiably crazy.

Just Denise and I.... 20 minutes on the ARC trainer then 50 situps and 50 crunches... Great Rest day!!!!

Today.....

We skipped the Filthy 50... see March 24th the last rest day!!!!!!


5 sets of 3 Bench Press
5 sets of 3 Shoulder Press

Carol 75, 75, 85, 95 (1 rep then failure), 95 (1 rep then failure)

Trish 75, 75, 85, 95 (to failure), 95 (to failure)

Rebecca 60, 60,60, 70 (to failure), 70 (to failure)
