Ezekiel Bread and Paleo

Been eating 95% paleo for 1.5 years. I want to gain "good" wieght, aka, more muscle. Will Ezekiel bread be bad for that?

no, ezekial bread is good. have you also looked into men's bread and mana bread? both very good sources of vegetarian protein which is in fact more easily processed by your body than red meat. If I remember correctly I beleive men's bread has about 7 grams of protein per slice. good luck

But it is made of organic wheat or rice which is non-paleo. It seems people go back and forth with it. idk. ill try it out i guess.

Actually, there is a growing body of scientific literature that demonstrates that paleolithic man ate quite a bit of cereal-based products with minimal processing.

I love the Ezekiel bread, however i use it as more of a treat than a staple. It appears to be minimally processed, tastes great, and curbs that craving i get periodically for bread. Especially good with over-easy eggs!

Thanks guys. I bought and tried ezikiel bread today and it was good. I looked up Men's Bread and i love the fat/carb/protien ratio so I will buy some tomorrow.

No, sorry, you need a subscription for this. Since scholarly journal subscriptions cost like $500 a piece (no joke) your best bet is to find a reputable university in your area that will let you use the library and then see if any of these articles are in the online archives.
