Hi Guys
I've somehow managed to strain my upper ab muscles - hurts like hell. Has anyone else experienced this and does anyone know of any 'suitable' exercises that I can do while it's recoving - obviously oly lifts etc are out. |

Re: Pulled an Ab
I had a issue when I was using a ab machine about 1 year ago doing crunches. I strained my ab muscle and when I stood up it contracted and made me scream like a chick. It went away and came back around 5 times like I was having contractions. If thats what child birth feels like - no thanks. I thought I was going to call 911 it was so bad.
I had to lay off for a long time on abs. Not a fun experience. I was lucky it didnt bother me on other exercises. That was the worse cramping feeling I ever felt. I do not use ab machines and started doing floor sweepers, knee to elbows, ab mats, GH Sit ups, etc.... My core is stronger than ever. Good luck and try to just give it some time and stretch you abs out. |
