Think they are pretty much going straight to the quarter finals

Re: Have we all seen this yet?

I caught the end really just the credits of the Grid show on some NBC sports channel I didn't even knew I had.

It's playing again tonight.

Re: Have we all seen this yet?

I saw some of that pro grid league on the NBC channel last night. I'm thinking it is not the best representation of CrossFit. Of course it is not associated with CrossFit, but most people will view it as synonymous with CrossFit. Some of the form displayed as they raced through reps looked to be an exemplary clinic for those who incorrectly criticize CrossFit as not caring about technique. I saw a whole bunch of high rep snatching with moderate weight where it looked like the vast majority of work was being done with the low back in lieu of the hips. A couple of them looked like they weren't even bending their knees and were just leaning over at the waist with a nearly horizontal torso to yank up the bar.

I was thinking the same thing, but you see that at regionals and the games as well when the athletes are able to throw the weight overhead without any real trouble.

Re: Have we all seen this yet?

Pretty embarrassing last night when they had the challenge flag redo on the speed cleans and no one on the floor had a clue they had to pick the bar up from quadrant 3 and carry it to 4. Both teams did multiple reps in quadrant 3 before any judge told them to move ahead one round. I know the "sport" is new but you've got to avoid mistakes like that, they end up making it look very amateurish.

Why aren't there replays of the Quarterfinals 2+4 anywhere to be found? It's annoying me a little!
