2016 CrossFit Games
Hi, I'm Tristan Hoyle and I am currently 15 Years old. I have made a goal to get to the CrossFit Games in 2016. I am currently nowhere near where I need to be and everyday I will have strength, skills and usually 2 MetCons. If you wish to follow along or post encouragement please do. The timetable for me right now looks like this:
2013: Compete In the Open 2014: Compete and Place in the top 100 in my Region 2015: Make Regionals 2016: Make and Finish in the top 3 in my Region I'm going to be working primarily in a 3 day Skills/Strength cycle: Day 1: Gymnastics Day 2: Olympic Lifting Day 3: Powerlifting (OH Presses instead of Bench) It's going to be a long road but I know I can make it. It's going to be a lot of hard work but I know I can do it. Here we go... |

Just got back from St. George, Utah. Feeling a little rusty but pretty good overall. Gymnastics Work: Ring Push-Ups: 100 in sets of 15 and one set of 10 Pull-Ups: 50 in sets of 5, definitely My biggest weakness and will be on every gymnastics day. MetCon: 40-30-20-10 Anerican Swings Ab-Mat Sit-Ups Time:8:49 Overall a light day. Going to go back at it hard tomorrow. |

Another light day. Had almost no time at the gym today with my High School Match. Just a WOD and some Squats.
Front Squat: 5-5-5 95, 115, 125 T2B: 30 in sets of 10 Pull-Ups: 25 in sets of 5 WOD: 2 Rounds for Time: 40 Push-Ups 30 Wall-Balls 20 Box Jumps Time: 9:07 with a 14Lb WallBall Wallballs are definitely on my weakness list. |

Completely strained for time right now with High School Season. Really working my gymnastics right now, easiest with the time issue. Pull-Ups: 50 in Sets of 5 T2B: 50 In Sets of 5 WOD: 5 Min AMRAP Burpees Rest 5 Minutes 5 Minute AMRAP Walking Lunges Score: 74 Burpees+ 158 Walking Lunges= 242 Total A pretty decent day. No gymnastics tomorrow. Going to try to get some Oly Lifting in but we have another match so it will be difficult. |

Fun day. Not as much time as I thought. Stuff was added to my schedule. I'll have lots of time tomorrow though. Gymnastics: Pull-Ups: 100 Ring-Push Ups: 100 (6 Sets of 15, 1 set of 10) T2B: 25 Hang Snatches: 7x5 at 65Lbs WOD: 5 Deadlifts (275/185) 10 Burpees 4:38 Scaled to 155lb Deadlift Deadlift was pretty light, all unbroken, definitely could have gone 30-40lbs heavier. Good day though. Squats, presses and Deadlifts tomorrow. |
