Maximum Reps/Minute For Exercises

I'm wondering if anyone has a list of how many reps per minute can be done for certain exercises, namely:

Push-Ups (chest to ground, not 90 degree elbows)
Air Squats (ATG)
Jump Squats (~18 jump)
Pull-Ups (kipping, of course)
GHD Sit-Ups (touch the floor, touch the toes)
Rowing (calories)
Box Jumps (24)
Push-Press
Front Squat
Thruster (full overhead extension and break parallel squat)
Bench Press
Hang Power Clean
SDL High Pull
Double Unders

I'd like to know for deciding when to increase the difficulty on some Tabata exercises. For example, with 2x20 dumbbell thrusters I max at 13 and drop to 9... Now I'm not the fastest thruster-er, but doing more than 50 per minute (16.6 in a 20s interval) seems impossible, so it may be time for me to go a bit heavier.

If no one knows, I can test myself, but like I said, I'm not all that fast.

Re: Maximum Reps/Minute For Exercises

Are you working continually at a fast pace without slowing down? Then up the weight.

Shorter people will be able to do more reps in a minute because of shorter ROM.

Re: Maximum Reps/Minute For Exercises

Just choose an arbitrary number.. like 10 or 15 then add weight if you can sustain it.

Re: Derek
Right, short people would have a faster cycle rate. Good point.

That works too. http://img362.imageshack.us/img362/1...onwackobz7.gif Time for 2x25 dumbbell thrusters!
