"Confirmed, he who sits the most, dies the soonest".

My goodness.... I have a desk job. I need to quit. I tried the whole standing thingie but developed knee pain from standing all day. I think we're not meant to stand on the floor statically either, perhaps we should be moving all the time?

Great.. No matter how healthy I am, I'm dying sooner.

I raised my desk, and have been standing about 3/4 of my work day for the past 2 years. It's helped my back tremendously.

At the same time, that article made little or no sense.

Just put my chair out of my room, away from my laptop, and am now kneeling in front of it. I can already tell just how tight my hips are since I'm struggling to keep them extended

Actually, apparently kneeling is even worse for your knees than sitting is for your hips etc...so I'm back on the chair. God damn it.

Reading articles is very bad for your mental health.

Check out the knee chair. It let's you put the stress on your knees, but much less intense than actually being on your knees.

I stand 8+ hours a day in the OR, so I guess I'll live forever.
