Re: The Official Smolov Support Thread

Very interested in your results so I'll be watching this one. My squat is my weakest lift compaired to the others in my total:
backsquat: 342
press: 210
deadlift: 465

Re: The Official Smolov Support Thread

See my numbers are so backwards from yours (and most peoples). My deadlift sucks compared to my squat. My best ever is 425, and I'm not even sure I could pull that at the moment. It might be because I have short arms. Makes me good at pressing and bad at deadlifting.

Re: The Official Smolov Support Thread

Here's a great motivational thread. Seems like there are quite a few people who have been able to do it with a good amount of success.

Right, but the thing I think gets missed is that they could experience better results with a proper program (no, not Starting Strength).

It should be telling to anyone with a good understanding of training that those (I did not check every single one) who are noting such great success were nowhere near their potential when both undertaking and finishing the program. In other words, they start and finish in somewhere from the 200s to 300s.

So would you be comfortable with making the claim that westside would put 50 pounds on my squat in 3 months?

Not trying to be sarcastic, i really want to know.
