Let me state that I think an elite CF'r would be very fit by most people's definition of "fitnes"". I just don't think "fitness" is as neatly defined as a power graph.

perhaps he is. BF% has nothing to do with it for one thing... and if he has a higher VO2 max that's great... can he put out and beat our tabata squatter in a 5km run? How about a 10k? If he can't produce the power output then who gives 2 craps about his higher VO2 max?
