Re: Rings, Rings, Rings

I own Elite 1's. There satisfactory.

I've used Rogues, loved them and will be buying them next.

An important point for some; Rogues = Made in USA

Keep your $$$ in N.A.!

Re: Rings, Rings, Rings

We have Powermax, Elite and Extreme and I have used Rogue's but do not own a set yet. There are subtle differences but I don't think you'll go wrong with any of them.

The Elites were our first, so I'm sort of partial. I think they look the coolest and Tyler is a great guy. I really liked the customer service I got from Coach Sommer when I bought a couple pairs of his Extreme rings, so I'd buy them again. The texture is different on the Extreme and Powermax rings as Blair said, I'm okay with both though. I'm not crazy about the straps on the Powermax rings. If you are going to set them and forget them, they're fine. If you change the length of the straps often like we do, for pushups, dips, MUs, handstands etc, you won't like them. The Rogue rings are solid and feel great and the cambuckle is definitely the easiest to thread the straps through.

For these reasons I have been seriously considering a "USA" (Universal Strength Apparatus). I was thinking about getting another set of rings so that I would not have to change the length between exercises and all that. Perhaps muscleups are more difficult on the USA, but that is about it. I have Elite II's and would take them when I leave the house. Though the USA is designed to leave the house as well.... What to do...
I have zero interest in doing real gymnastics, so the USA would easily fill my needs I think.

Just responded.

To answer Ibn's question, we ship all over the world with USPS. We ship to APO/FPO every Friday, there is normally a very big stack of rings headed to the MIL folks out there.

Re: Rings, Rings, Rings

Rogue.

Sturdier equipment
Better design.
Made in America.
Bought three sets.... one strap had a flaw that I did not see for a couple of months... replacement was an easy email, fast delivery, and no questions asked.

I have friends that own other "CrossFit" equipment stores as well. Rogue is always among or the best regardless of item, service, or complexity.

Thanks Bill and Andrea.
