Re: Why do you train?

I train because I want to be better than everyone else. I hate when people say, "yeah back in high school," or "back about five years ago I could..." I hate when people talk about how great they USE TO BE. You see them now and they can't even run a mile or do 20 pushups. I train because I want to be great for as long as I can and not be the one to say, "I use to..."

really good point dude, I hear that all the time. It's kind of sad when they say that and are currently obese. I always think to myself: why did you let this happen to you then?

That's so funny. I always said that as motivation to work harder, but after a year of CF, it can only serve as a motivator for a couple areas: bench press and distance running and cycling.

Re: Why do you train?

Im training to become a Pararescueman, and PJ's are always the last resort, the saviors that you HAVE to rely on and put your fate in their hands. I want to be the most reliable, apt person for any task, including saving lives.
