Scrum sled

I know this is off topic but I know there are many rugby players on these boards so I figured I'd give it a shot.

Does anyone have plans to build a sled similar to this one here: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi..._side_view.jpg (WFS) ?

If not, would anyone in position of a similar sled be willing to take measurements and PM them to me? I'm working with a local youth club with very little funding. Thanks

Re: Scrum sled

Try this site http://www.usp.ac.fj/index.php?id=5670

or right near the end of this thread (on the second page) http://www.betterrugbycoaching.com/r...c1333-4-2.aspx (note the comments re litigation in that thread!)

More commonly called scrum machines away from the US - if the above don't help, try an internet search using that expression. Good luck with it.

Re: Scrum sled

This may also be of interest - at least they show some dimensions for the width between the 2 shoulder pads which could be adapted to the team machine:

There's also:

But you'd think it would be easier to just find a simple set of plans!
