100kg Snatch

100kg Snatch

5kg PR today.

Noticed my hips do rise a little bit so I can control my first pull better. As you can hear in the video quite clearly I bang the bar with my hips pretty hard sometimes. It doesn't always knock it out but if I miss it's always foreword.

I'm going to go eat some bacon and eggs now.

Re: 100kg Snatch

Good timing and extension on the way up. Good receiving position, although the knees might be drifting in.

I would be more worried about the hips rising to soon in your squat as you stand up. The more you let the hips rise, the more you are going to be chasing the bar as you stand up. Bring your hips as you stand up.
Overall, good lift.

Nice work. How can you afford those expensive shoes and weights, but not a shirt?

Good lift. Keep the work up, you'll hit 110 in no time.

W/F/S....guess the inability to afford shirts goes deeper in weightlifting than we knew.
