After Dana went to such pains to punk Tito over the whole boxing match affair, I was surprised to even see Tito on the card. Does anyone know if there was any fallout with the Nevada State Athletic Commission over his failure to show for that weigh-in?

I am not sure if the Nevada State Athletic Commission tried to sanction Tito, but they did say that the Tito/Dana fight would never happen in the state. Apparently Tito's antics really made some people mad. Rightfully so I guess. I heard that Tito called Dana the day of the fight and said that he was "letting Dana off the hook" by not showing up for the fight. If that's true, it's pretty weak.

The whole concept was just silliness. Dana was being a adolescent to have requested the fight to begin with. They both make the sport look dumb with actions like that.

I just got 4 free tickets to UFC73 so it should be a good time. I really don't care who wins or loses, just a good time to hang with the buds, I'll try and have us all yell CROSSFIT if a PPV camera is near us.

Sherk vs. Franca I don't have a pick for. It's such a tough call. Sherk is a beast but Franca is an animal.

Tito will win in a decision but it's going to be a close call and he'll probably only win because of reputation and the fact that Rashad can afford a loss at this point in his career. Tito cannot.

Silva will win. I don't see him dominating the way he did vs. Franklin though. It seems that his "weakness" has been vindicated. He's still darn good on the ground.

Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. Herring hasn't been good lately. His whiney exit in the last fight that I saw made me dislike him a lot. Sportsmanship matters.

I think Tito will lose. Rashad is a much better wrestler and although Tito has beaten many great wrestlers, they were mostly freestyle wrestlers.

Rashad is a folkstyle wrestler...a very controlling style. Tito doesn't do very well against better folkstyle guys.
