I just received this chart from the supplier:

Per Package Weight Freights S & H

Up to 20 Lbs $17.65 $5.00

Up to 30 Lbs $24.30 $5.00

Up to 40 Lbs $30.60 $5.00

Up to 50 Lbs $35.75 $5.00

Up to 60 Lbs $39.70 $5.00

Up to 70 Lbs $42.25 $5.00

Up to 80 Lbs $64.00 $5.00

Up to 90 Lbs $72.00 $5.00

Up to 100 Lbs $80.00 $5.00

Up to 110 Lbs $88.00 $5.00

Up to 120 Lbs $96.00 $5.00

They are working on integrating this information into the checkout process ASAP.
Hope that helps.

Frank,

Not to be a spoil sport, but that is unbelievably high. As a point of reference I went through checkout from a company I have purchased bells from before and ordered the same bells I ordered from KBC (2-12kg.&2-16kg.) and the shipping was $19.98. That is a huge difference, and the shipping cost pretty much negates the KBC advantage. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Dean

Dean, I believe that those prices are when you're only buying that one bell, so if you're adding up the multiple bells, you're not going to get an acurate shipping charge. I do agree that shipping charges for any and all bells are absolutely ridiculous though.

Doh... totally misread your post and the chart. Yeah, shippings very high, where did you get your bells from Dean?

Dean, it sounds like you found a great deal!
Do you know what shipper they are using?
As far as I know, UPS Ground Residential Service is the same amount for the same weight and areas.
You might want to share that information with the CF community, so they can also take advantage of it.

The company is at http://www.everythingtrackandfield.com/

I just tried it again and got the same thing.

I just called my wife and she said it was UPS.

Thanks Dean, I've ordered from them in the past. I checked the price on a 40 kg/88lb kettlebell and compared them to KBC. Their shipping was less, but their kettlebell cost $30.00 more before the 20% discount.
After the discount their kettlebell was $50.00 more than KBC's kettlebell of the same size.

Frank,

I am sure you are correct, however in the scenario I described above, the reduced cost of shipping causes the total price to be 16-17% less than KBC. It could very well be that the quality of the KBC bells are worth the premium. Maybe it is just the yankee in me that is trying to wrap my head around $100 shipping on $150 of product.

Thanks for your input.
Dean

No problem Dean,I've used that type of kettlebell and I have decided to opt for better quality.
I train people with kettlebells all through the week as part of my training profession.
Also I have trained with kettlebells for a couple of years and know what works best for me and my clients. That is one of the main reasons I have quit ordering those types of kettlebells.
By the way, I see you are from NH; I used to live there (also in Mass.).
I appreciate your input.
