Hey Ken, that was a good point about the shipping on the kettlebells 70lb and over. It has to calculated, evidently, at a different rate than for the lighter ones. That is why it is not pre-set (they really didn't lose their minds).
Each customer buying those size KBs should be notified of the shipping charges by e-mail, prior to shipment.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see a web site referenced anywhere. Where in the heck are you ordering these K-bells? Somebody please post a website.
Thanks,

David

I have a few questions about Kettlebells. What should the grip width be and where can a get a good deal on them? I see a few OK deals on eBay.
I just want to make sure I know what I'm getting.

Hi Jennifer, the grip width will more a matter of personal preference. It is important that you have good control of the kettlebell during your various exercises.
Most of the people I train with kettlebells seem to like a medium width grip. Ones that have thinner handles or very thick ones present some extra challenges, especially if the person is new to this type of training.
You find a link for well-priced, good quality kettlebells on my website.
Hope that helps.

Jennifer,

Have you used different brands? I am intrigued about buying the 12KG for my wife she currently has a 8KG DD and likes it so I was debating on going with DD or these KBC ones and it would only be 31 with the crossfit discount...sheesh I could buy 3 of the 12KG's for the price of one over at DD. Hm.

How do these KB's compare to the standard KB's that one would see in Eastern Europe (say, at the KB world championships)? How do the dimensions on the 1.5 and 2 pood models compare to the actual "competition" models?
Thanks,
David
