I believe our's can be considered similar in type and calibration. We're finalizing the data and will put it into a bar chart.

Any update on your findings from the data?

I purchased an xebex a couple months ago and have enjoyed it so far. I've owned 4 concept rowers over the years including modes B, C and D and PM's 2,3 and 4. The box I go to has model D's with PM 4's.

Yesterday we had a workout that incorporated a 150 cal row for time. I was not able to make it to the box so I did the workout at my house on the xebex. My results on the xebex were comparable to someone who is a consistently comparable to me but who used the concept rower

My stats: xebex rower
Time 6:38
Calories 150
Distance 1912 meters
Damper 7

Comparable athlete on a concept 2, D w/ PM4
Time 6:49
Calories 150
Distance 1947 meters
Damper 7

Those looked pretty close to me based on the assumption that we were 11 seconds apart which led to the concept rower rowing an additional 35 meters. I would assume in 11 seconds that is an easy distance to cover with 3-4 pulls.

Overall I am enjoying the xebex and would recommend it to anyone in the market for a rower. It will be interesting to see how they adapt the monitor as there is some room for further development. At the end of the day for my desires of a solid rower that gives a heck of a workout without needing or utilizing all the computer tracking data that a pm4 allows, this xebex rower fits the bill.
