Re: Sesamoid bipartite or broken?

Hi! i trolled the internet for months trying to find a cure for my sesamoid pain. i went through a whole slew of doctors, MRI, X-rays and they showed a possible fracture.. I was in so much pain at some points in time that i could hardly walk, then i got it in both feet.

after 8 months of trying with no success, i ripped all the insoles out of my shoes, down to the bare stitching, to try and get a more flat surface, voila, no more sesamoid pain.

Re: Sesamoid bipartite or broken?

Thanks Sara,

I noticed a similar pattern in my other foot (after all, it took two feet to come down off that mountain). The right foot so far seems to be made worse by firm surfaces though, and that's the one that's in two pieces.

Were either of your sesamoids bipartite? (Whether naturally or broken due to injury)
