New to Site

Hello all, I joined this forum to expand my knowledge of Crossfit seeing as how I seem to be the only guy getting funny looks at my gym from doing Burpees!

Hope to gain some good knowledge and WODs from the site, I still need to do Fran as well.

Re: New to Site

I was also wondering one other thing I have been trying to figure out. When people are talking about Rx'd I know it means as prescribed, but what does that mean? Body weight? A predetermined weight?

Thanks!

Re: New to Site

Hi Scott,

If you haven't already take some time to read through the F.A.Q. http://www.crossfit.com/cf-info/faq.html (link is WFS)
When people talk about Rx or as prescribed they are saying they completed the workout as written ex. 95lb thrusters, using less weight or changing the reps or sets is referred to as scaling.

Hope this helps and welcome to CF

Tom
