Painstorm XX
Brought to you by:
Karl Steadman and the good folks of Crossfit Manchester UK (coming soon).

1 min at each station with 1 min rest after each 5 ( Fight Gone Bad style).
TWO rounds (Two times through each rotation 40 minutes of total work time).
Score equals total reps just like FGB (only worse).

Rotation A
1 - hspu
2 - m/up
3 - squats
4 - sit ups
5 - pull ups

Rotation B
1 - kbell swing
2 - kbell left arm snatch
3 - kbell walking lunge
4 - kbell right arm snatch
5 - kbell goblet squat

Rotation C
1 - push press
2 - sdhp
3 - split jerk
4 - power clean
5 - thruster

Rotation D
1 - burpees
2 - 10m sprint
3 - pull up
4 - shoulder press
5 - row

Loading is 40kg (95lb) with 16kg kbell. Scale to suit.

CrossFit Central Scotland will be doing this Saturday, Dec. 2nd. CrossFit Manchester hopes to open its doors and make this their first official workout. Brand X will be doing this Saturday, Dec. 16th.

They will all be very surprised if anyone else is hard core (or insane) enough to actually try this one.

I hate you all...
Just finished a modified Painstorm. For some reason I talked myself into it by making it 4 x 10minute rounds, without the minute rest. 3 minutes between rotations.

Rotation A
1 - decline Pushups 18/13
2 - jumping m/up 8/8
3 - squats 36/40
4 - sit ups 18/19
5 - pull ups 17/13

Rotation B
1 - kbell swing 35/20
2 - kbell left arm snatch 19/17
3 - kbell tactical lunge 16/16
4 - kbell right arm snatch 20/24
5 - kbell goblet squat 16/10

Rotation C
1 - push press 25/10
2 - sdhp 18/7
3 - split jerk 10/12
4 - power clean 6/6
5 - thruster 8/7

rotation C absolutely wrecked me. Totally worthless by 5 minutes in.

Rotation D
1 - burpees 10/6
2 - 30 Lb ball C+J 8/8
3 - pull up 8/8
4 - sit ups 20/18
5 - push ups 18/26

Loading is 90 lb barbell, and 16kg kbell.

Ready for bed at 7;15 PM

Brand X Scout Team:

Jeff

Dan

95#/16KG

Kim
598 ?

I did SledgeHammer's instad of SDHP due to back injury. Interesting vision distortion caused by headslams, I mean handstand push ups the second round. Also a near perfect rendition of the "Iron I" while trying to do multiple muscle ups the second round.

Awesome Ben. My most vivid memory was the time running out on the rest period before the second pass through and thinking ", I have to do this all again!"
