Francis, usually I have people warmup either by rowing or jump roping or what-have-you prior to doing this. I even incorporate it as my own standard warmup, usually running through it 2-3x quickly to warm up. It works wonders, if you look at the trainee we have at CFBK on my blog. It works almost too well.
