Re: Not soo good press

I was expecting to see a photo or a video of a standing press with poor form. This was much worse.

You would hope a gym run by someone with such disregard would not have enough members to remain open for long. Unfortunately the actions of a single gym can tarnish other CrossFit affiliates. I get calls every week from someone who mistakenly believes we are somehow related to the other CrossFit gyms in our area. I would not want anyone thinking we would tolerate this sort of behavior at our gym.

Hopefully he will change his ways and represent the CrossFit community better.

Its the same guy who got ****ed at a judge during a competition and basically threw the barbell towards the judge and continued to complain about a no rep. His affiliate should be revoked

Re: Not soo good press

Wow. I was expecting to read something of a box sending away a lot of people with rhabdo or something.

Talk about ugly. And it goes against the ideals of most in the CF Community to use our strength to assist those less fortunate/weaker around us.

Re: Not soo good press

I find this despicable. AND, this loser is Andrea Ager's boyfriend.....and she's a super sweet girl trying to open her own CF box....although selling $10,000 personally cooked dinners is a weird way to go about it....

CFHQ apparently said they were notified about it and contacted the local police...........but didn't revoke his affiliation!?!! WTF

Re: Not soo good press

This is a great opportunity for the other boxes near by to step up and do a throwdown with all proceeds going to help the homeless. Show the public a few bad apples do not represent the entire CF community.

That's a great idea. Unfortunately, it wouldn't get the same press as that did.

HQ said that they "can't control" what an affiliate does, as an excuse for not taking any action. But forgot to mention that they yanked Robb Wolf's and other person's affiliate, and Glassman yanked a person's L1 cert on the board here.

At the very least, the affiliate should have been booted and the L1 holders who were present should have been de-certified.

Re: Not soo good press

Is this another Teasdale thread?

Too bad beastmodaldomains was "forced" to shut down because Epic did an awesome write up on the tantrum he threw at the OC throwdown.

Yup. It's a joke.
