From snatching 30kg to 100kg in 3.5 years

Just wanted to post this here. I finally snatched 100kg, a goal I've had in mind for a very long time. Just goes to show that if you work for something, it will pay off eventually. Back then, I was pumped about 30kg, but there's no way I would have thought I could ever put 100kg over my head.

No way man. That first video is just some skinny kid.

Saw this post at the other place too.

Nice work. Way to grind it out. When is your next meet? How bout your next meet opening at 100?

Thanks mate! Probably won't be competing again until September/October. Hoping to hit 104, as that would be a new jr. provincial record.

Right on. With that 100 out of the way it's no stopping you. I have a masters record I am working towards. Only sixteen kilos to go. Lol.

Daniel, this makes me smile obviously. I remember a lot of your first posts here and watching you transition to just lifting the past couple years. Great job.

Congrats. I too hope to snatch 100 sometime in the next 1-1.5 years. Next stop for me is 90KG.

Good luck on your next meet.

10 minutes left at work on a slow, tiring Monday and I come across this. I can't wipe the smile of my face, not only am I extremely happy for you I am filled with hope that maybe one day I'll be able to do the same. Currently sitting around 50 kg after learning the snatch 6 months ago and training hard for only the last 3.
