I'm guessing you position it on your lower back and basically do leg lifts?

Or lay on it sideways.

interesting thread! Some of you mentioned lacrosse-balls. Are those balls harder than tennisballs? Because Im looking for some harder ones. Now if youre wondering....Im from Germany and lacrosse isnt really popular over here

Yep, lacrosse balls are quite a bit harder. If you can find a mail order sporting goods company you should be able to get them for about $1 apiece at quantities of ~10 or more. Not sure how easy they are to find in Europe, though.

I use the lacrosse ball for my hips. It's about the only thing I've found that can really dig in there, but it REALLY digs in there. If I do too much with it I'll hurt for a couple days before I get to feel the benefit.
