875 lbs squat in knee wraps only

This is one of the guys I sponsor. Watch the set with 600 lbs. I think he could have squat snatched it if he wanted to...

That 875 was deeper than his 2 lighter sets before it...which is really refreshing to see. Super tired of mega suits and partial reps....
What are his other lifts at?

Either way, much respect. Also, much jealously that there are no gyms like that near me and probably never will be....

Wow! Very impressive. I can't get over how explosive that 600lb set was.

His best total to date is 2,204 lbs (belt and knee wraps only) in the 275 lbs weight class.

He has pulled 850 lbs in the gym. His best meet squat is 881 lbs (belt and knee wraps). He best bench (raw) is in the 540 lbs range I believe (in the gym).

Great video. Thanks for sharing. Nuts really how explosive 600 was. Teach him the snatch and c&j!

Good god that is strong! What kind of training is he doing, Chris? Are most of your sponsored athletes Westside style trainees or do you have all types?

here are two articles from 2010 and he was already strong... some interesting stuff in the interview...

both are fairly WFS... a little language, no bad images i saw...

All types. He does his own thing. What he does is essentially cycle up to a meet over the course of several weeks. He starts light and works up attempting to peak for the meet.
