Talking Rubber mats question

Hi guys! Just want to ask something bout mats. You see the rubber mat availability here in my country is so scarce and so expensive! I found some but it's not the compact. High density type. More like the puzzle mats type you usually see in bjj gyms.

How long do you guys think will this last our box if we save costs now and purchase this one. I'm not from the US which is why shipping costs can be really really expensive. Need input guys! Thank you!

Re: Rubber mats question

I assume you tried the farm stores for horse stall mats?

Re: Rubber mats question

Find out who's traveling there and ask them to bring some with them.

You're an idiot. When don't you boost your post count with some useful info?

Aaron- the soft foam will not last long with bumpers and kettlebells being dropped on it. But if its really cheap no harm in trying it. Or look for used conveyor belts (the industrial type).

Re: Rubber mats question

I found someone here posting about him finding a supplier from china that I think is a good price. I dm'ed him and still Waiting for a relply. Hopefully he does reply as the post was since 2010. Anyone got info on china suppliers?

Nalin: conveyor belts? Hmm interesting. I'll ask around if I could find one. What size perhaps? Any possible tips where to find them? Thank you for the help man!

Gene: I tried but there are no good suppliers of good matting in that industry here.

http://www.conveyor-belts-belting.com/usedbelt.html WFS

Obviously that site is useless to you since it's in the US-but it gives you an idea what I'm talking about.

Anything 1/2" - 3/4" thick should work though.

Re: Rubber mats question

Um, Even if you do not like a reply someone gives, maybe calling them an "idiot" is not appropriate, ever.

Re: Rubber mats question

We have sold our mats to many overseas customers. Because we ship all the time, we get good shipping rates. If you are purchasing a decent quantity (150+) mats it may be worth getting a quote from us.

Check out our website in my signature.

Also, regarding the puzzle mats you are speaking of. I do not recommend getting those, they will be a complete waste of money for your application and will be damaged in no time. They are not made for this application.

Re: Rubber mats question

3/4" 4X6 high density gym mat is 37.99 at Tractor Supply Co. Cheapest I've seen almost anywhere.
