Gymnastic Ring Sizes

Hi everyone,

I'm looking at going into retail here in the UK selling handmade gymnast rings. I'm looking for a little bit of help from you all, just a bit of advice needed. Rogue are now producing new sized rings, they used them in the European Regionals I think. When it comes to ring sizes, do you all prefer the standard 1.25 diameter rings or the 1.110 diameter rings?

Any help you all could give me would be fantastic

Cheers everyone,

Gary Butterfield

Re: Gymnastic Ring Sizes

I prefer the FIG sized rings but then again I'm 5'+. For those of ordinary hand size, I have heard they preferred this size till they are generally over 6' or larger than normal hands.

Re: Gymnastic Ring Sizes

Basically, anybody over 6' or 215 is probably gonna prefer the extra width of the rings. It also hurts the palms less at first since there is more surface area.
