When you can't get to the gym.

I'm pretty new to Crossfit and I really don't have any equipment myself. I have a friend of mine who has all the gear, but we can't always get our schedules to coincide. My question for you guys is what Crossfit-like workouts could a guy do at his house with just a pullup bar, a bowflex, and a treadmill on the days he can't make to a gym?

Here's a whole list that doesn't require any equipment!

Re: When you can't get to the gym.

There are 5 years-plus of WODs listed on the mainsite alone. Anytime I get stuck for ideas, I just click through 'til I find something interesting or doable in my present circumstances. Not to mention all the affiliate blogs!

No list of WODs you get from this thread will ever compare to the wealth of WODs that are already out there.

Having said that, Cindy, Angie, Tabata Something Else and Barbara are all doable with just a pull-up bar.

I would say spend twenty bucks combined on a top-loading Army duffel bag, some contractor bags or pillow cases, and some sand, and you are in even better shape. Especially if your pull-up station supports kipping!

The list that was posted above has all the mainpage bodyweight WODs that have been posted in the past 5 years or so.

Re: When you can't get to the gym.

A nice CF-style workout done at the local high school:

Bleachers: run up walk down - repeat 5 times
20 Squats
20 pushups
20 situps
20 dips

AMRAP in 10 minutes
