You sound like me on the DLs! I was up to 255 and (poof) now I've lowered to 225 (and even that's heavy). My drop is attributed to losing bodyweight.
You asked about Keith. He opted to leave the boards over all the BS yesterday. Even got a "hate mail." Can't blame him for leaving. I know he loved posting on your log and Jay's. It was sure fun while it lasted.

yea, I don't get involved in drama online and its kind of foolish to do that. No matter what we believe or how we believe, arguing online is futile. People grow brass balls when they hide behind a computer screen and they type stuff they would NEVER say to your face or use a tone they would NEVER use to your face.

As a former moderator of a HUMONGOUS bulletin board I can say it's not worth it at all. If you see a thread that will incense you to the point of a flame war, bow out. The moderators will pull a thread that becomes one and to get in an uproar over a message board is silly.

At the end of the day, life goes on and a posting is just that... a posting. We all have families at home (at least most of us do) and there is so much more to get mad about than a crossfit.com discussion.

Believe you me, I have a legendary temper, its downright vicious at times and I have been known to be a seriously cold-hearted sadistic person when the mood strikes... BUT on a bulletin board?!? Not worth it, arguments happen, but keep them ALL civil.

IF a thread gets yanked, suck it up and deal with it. Life goes on.

Its a damn shame to lose Keith over juvenile arguments and disagreements that could probably have been avoided.

****! That's what I thought... I figured he may have bowed out of this silly debacle. Tis' a shame, truly is. Please tell him that he's still my guy and wish him the best. Tell him to keep in touch...

Oh, and I still consider myself invited to the lakehouse, so he better not think he's getting out of that one

Sorry to hear about the frustrating time with the deadlifts today. I can't much more than what everyone else has said. Lifts like that can be so wishy washy. My presses are like that...Makes me want to

Wednesday, 12.3.8

Temperature in Gym: 38*

1) Full Squat Clean, 1x3 @ 133#, 5x1 @ 173# (previous 1RM)

2) Muscle Clean + Tall Clean (1+1), 5 sets @ 133#
(clean and clean progressions are feeling better than ever. I can Hang Power Clean over 200# but my full squat cleans are whack, but they are really improving. I'm getting better at jumping under the bar and working my squats. I can't wait to get a REAL bar so I can put up some nice weight)

3) WOD:
10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 of:
Piston Press @ 2x 53# KB, done on flat bench, one right arm then one left arm press = 1 rep
Goblet Squat @ 70# KB
Box Jump
Pull-Ups
Deadlift @ 195#


Time - 26:37
(this WOD was a workhorse movement... Awesome. It's hard to grasp what this WOD really entails just by looking at it. For those of you who do not know what a Piston Press is, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eptmzeDi98I w/f/s. I did them with KB's though, much more difficult)

4) Turkish Get Up @ 53# KB x 3 each side
(first time ever doing TGU's so I was happy doing it with a 1.5pood KB)

5) Skin the Cat, Max Hold x 5

Thank you Ms. Sisson, much appreciated. But... That was yesterday, and today was much better.

I feel your pain on the presses though. Presses are prone to stagnation

Oh, and Christin, you mentioned a "hate mail" that was sent to a friend of ours... Let me know who that was and my associate Mr. Ashman and I will make sure things are dealt with swiftly and most of all, discreetly
