Thanks bud. They felt great. I have a feeling my lifts will see some more decent numbers in the coming weeks.

Re: The Mutation from Man to Machine...

10.9.8

1) Back Squat 3x5 @ 200#
5 - 200# (PR)
5 - 200#
5 - 200#

(This is the most I've squatted for five reps... They felt pretty good, heavy, but good)

2) Bench Press 3x5 @ 180#
5 - 180#
5 - 180#
5 - With 2/ 80# DB's

(From now on I can't Bench Press with a barbell anymore due to a shoulder injury from a while back. However, I have no problem benching heavy DB's... It's just something about a bar that makes it terrible on my shoulder)

3) Deadlift 1x5 @ 335#
5 - 335#

4) Weighted Chins 3x5 @ 45#
5 - 45#
5 - 45#
5 - 45#

5) Tabata Pull-Ups
14, 8, 7, 3, 3, 5
Total = 40

6) Tabata Sit-Ups (Anchored Abmats, Shoulders to ground)
13, 12, 11, 9, 9, 10
Total = 64

Re: The Mutation from Man to Machine...

Awesome work, David-
especially the tabata DUs!
I used to be able to string together 20-30 whenever I wanted... for some reason, I have totally lost my rhythm... I am now happy when I get 5 in a row.
It sucks.
It was my Achilles Heel at the BWI Hopper Challenge last week.
I still have whip marks on my elbows/forearms from all my DU failures...

Thanks Sean! Those whip marks can get ruthless my friend! I've had people think I was some kind of martyr... Or involved in some sort of corporal punishment.
