Re: thinking of opening box

Totally depends.
I was looking for a location - casually - for months before I found one.
Once I found the one I wanted, in June, I started paperwork for the affiliate, and setting up the business, etc.
throughout there has been quite a bit of work on the property and a few delays, some expected/tolerated and other unexpected and more frustrating.
Now I'm just waiting for the gear to arrive from Rogue - expected the middle of this week.
Shooting for a "soft opening" on November 19.
So, that's about 5 1/2 months from identifying the property to opening the doors.
I'm sure it could have been quicker if I did things a bit differently, and especially if the property had been ready to go, rather than needing a bunch of work.

Re: thinking of opening box

If by "paperwork" you're referring to getting it all sorted with HQ...that's the easy part, and you can pretty much get started while that is being processed.

The stuff that is outside of your control....zoning, contractors, equipment suppliers, etc; that is where the time comes in.

Depending on a number of factors; I'd say between 3-9 months from start to finish.
