Day 14 'cindy' challenge: 14 rounds (total 105 rounds = 525 pullups, 1050 pushups, 1475 squats)
this challenge has become an all consuming soul sucker. i feel like i am doing pullups, pushups, & squats 24/7. last night i didn't finish until midnight & tonight just after 11. this challenge is more about my will then anything else & i refuse to let up... |

Yeah, this one's a bit crazy.
Yesterday was: 19 rounds I finally caught back up to the correct schedule. I then proceeded to do some bench press. Popped out a quick (read: slow, my muscles were not responding to requests for speed) 6@60kg, easy 5@70kg (building up with light weights just t ease my muscles out after the press-ups) and the went for 3@80kg which again should have been easy. Unfortunately as I went up with the second rep my right hamstring cramped up and I almost had to be rescued from under the bar (managed to just about press it out after stalling halfway up). ![]() |

my lats and tris are pretty dang tight and sore now, but I still won't give up. This has been a good challenge. I will definitely be happy when this is done though
![]() The other thing that I've noticed is that my legs are pretty tired all the time. The quality of my squats has gone up, but the overall volume is starting to wear on me, I believe. |

this is still more of a mental challenge for me then physical. i want my life back... |

Day 17 'cindy' challenge: 17 rounds (total 153 rounds = 765 pullups, 1530 pushups, 2195 squats)
i decided to calculate the number of reps i have done so far during this challenge & then multiplied it by my body weight. then i converted it to metric tons and came up with 580.439 metric tons (639.825 US tons) of work i have done over this past month just for this challenge alone. putting in work... |

I am amazed that you guys are still going strong! I have had to drop out - work, kids, holidays, renos, in-laws moving in....too many excuses to wade through!

thanks milton!
i have been thinking of a thousand excuses to quit myself, but when it comes down to it i know the feeling of regret would last alot longer these 20 days. last time i tried this challenge in october 08' i only lasted 15 rounds before my wrists had it from all the push ups. this time i took extra precaution early & am doing all my pushups on towels. not going to let anything stop me, but this weekend is going to be a challenge with a million family obligations today, xmas party tonight, & traveling tomorrow to nocal. |
