1st full month of my sabbatical from the gym while I use 90% of my time better to my profession life and about 10% everything else (enjoy the company of my beautiful lady, eat and sleep) I do give 12-15 min 4-5 days during the week as a standard "Keep Fat Reid at Bay" routine:

Tabata Push Up (occassionally weighted - backpack filled with 20lb of hardback books)

Tabata Lunges (I put a 27lb statue I have in the same backpack for this) - Gotta keep dat @ss looking sharp

\__ This is my standard AM routine. Tabata burpees show up occasionally, but lets be honest: they're awful, so 2x week, if that.

I am in the final push for writing the level 1 of the CFA exam on June 1st and currently adjusting to a promotion at work that now has me working a roughly 50hr+/wk

Crossfit/Oly Lifting have taken a back seat for me while I pay attention to what I deem to be more important for my future. Namely intense financial study in the early AM/late PM, coupled with taking on more and more responsibility at work.

I'll be back grinding at CFCC sometime in early June, but in the mean time my goals are to pass this miserable exam, while not losing more that 20% of my actual strength.

Not sure if its a positive or negative: Last day at the gym (~3/15), weighed 203lbs.... 1 month of minimal exercise.... current body weight 190lbs. I had no intention of losing weight, I just so very badly don't want to get fat and soft.

~6 more weeks of self imposed exile. It'll be over before i know it.

Here's to not being soft, flabby and weak....
