1min Single Leg Squat Holds L+R

2xBox Jump For Max Height - 43"
(Its cruel to do these right after the SLS Holds)

Squat Clean
2x95
2x135
2x155
2x175
2x185
2x185

Then 2 Squat Clean on the min every min for 10 with 185.

My body is starting to understand the movement better. The work on snatch form earlier in the week really translated well.

Got off work early to get some dental work done so I stopped by the 6:30 to work a little on cleans and walking on my hands. Getting pretty close to freestanding handstand.

Hang Squat Cleans
2x95, 2x135, 2x155, 2x175

Power Clean
2x185,1x195,1x205,1x215,

1x220 - Fell down to one knee but lunged up to standing. Not sure if that one counted.

Worked on freestanding handstands. Max hold was like 4-5 seconds. Sweet

Walked on hands a bit too. Max was like 8-10ft. Sweet

Year end goal of 300lb looks attainable.

Death By Press/Push Press/Push Jerk - Max Reps til you gotta move onto next movement

115lb

14+12

Did 8+5 with strict press then push pressed until the last two rounds.

Also, did 1 rep a second for the first 10 or so rounds

Pretty strong day.

Stopped a bit short of max effort but still felt strong. Kettlebells definitely strengthened zee hips.

KB Class (Very fun, you should all come)

Pretty cool linear warm up stuff

TGU Form Work

Metcon:
10 Burpee
30 Snatch (1.5)
15 Burpee
20 Snatch (1.5)
20 Burpee
10 Snatch (1.5)

5:16

Front Plank 1min hold
Bird Dog 30 sec hold each leg
Hip Extension 30 sec hold

Then 20 min break

Partner with Tony, complete each station then partner goes and so on.

2rd each for time

6 50 ft shuttle sprints
2 50 ft 2pd kb overhead jog
4 50 ft 2x2pd kb rack jog
2 50 ft 120lb sandbag jog
6 50 ft shuttle sprints

5:30ish then 4:40ish

Fun adult version of elementary school field day.

KB class was pretty cool. KBs are still relatively new to me so I like the heavy focus on form.

Pretty high weight week and feeling almost no soreness. I feel like I am starting to get to a higher intensity level of training and it feels really good. Its also great to see so many new faces at CFCC.

Sidenote, can do a front handspring and a 1 armed cartwheel. Neat.

5 burpees for every fall

105 burpees

I fell a lot. Really only had one solid attempt walking on hands. Didn't have it today.
