Studbar design questions

I'm looking for some info on the Studbar, as I have a buddy that can weld one for me at much lower cost.

1. How long are the horizontal ceiling mounts?
2. What are the dimensions of steel tubing used for the vertical supports and the ceiling mounts?
3. How thick is the steel plate that joins the vertical supports to the ceiling mounts?
4. Is the bar solid or hollow?
5. What kind of hardware (length, diameter) is used to mount it?

Re: Studbar design questions

Attached is some pics of my home made one I made out of steel laying around

The blue supports were 40mm wide, the bar was 1 1/4", it was some gal piping we had laying around, it does bend though, id recommend a thick as wall possible as you can get.

I posted some pics of mine in this thread (wfs)
