The fact that he did that to Forrest... Wow.

We need to see a Georges vs. Anderson, there's just no two ways about it.

I'd say have Silva challenge for LHW title first but he's friends with Machida so I don't think that would happen.

Re: Anderson Silva the best??...!!...

Something about the fight was well...wrong. I have watched Forrest become bloody and pummled and still fight on. He was knocked down in weak ways both times. He tried to stop fighting the first time if you watch him and then again falls down and shakes his hands a second time, without being barely hit, then takes for the door and "runs" to the dressing room.

I think this fight was fixed plain and simple, I tried to put myself in Forrest shoes; if I knew it was fixed I wouldn't have wanted to face the cameras and try to look legit. If you think that fighting, in Las Vegas, with very interesting odds isn't influenced I would say that you are naive.

His actions are so uncharacteristic of Forrest...I say look for a rematch within the next 5 UFC's and it be spun as Forrest trying to get his honor back or something to that effect. I hate to say it but I wouldn't put it past Dana to create drama so that UFC sells.

I highly doubt the fight was fixed. Forrest has usually had a fighting chance against most opponents. I think he was completely outclassed and realized it very quickly.

Isn't past your bedtime Toby

I would put fight fixing past Dana. But I'm not sure Griffin was the better fighter here either. Silva is a precision striker and relies on efficient striking not just volume. He's got pinpoint devestation. Also, I think both guys have too much honor for shady ways. But I would not hesitate to switch my viewing trends from UFC to Strikeforce if any words come out about a fixed fight. After the way Dana handled the Strikeforce situation, I'm not terribly thrilled about the UFC. I'll definitely be watching the news to follow.

I found the Penn v Florian match more interesting, I guess it's over to "bjpenn.com" to see what kind of training he did.

Re: Anderson Silva the best??...!!...

uncharacteristic... are you serious?
Forrest ran out of the ring the exact same way when Jardine canned him. He can't take a loss and runs and hides. Forrest was clearly outclassed last night. Anderson made him look stupid and he was embarrassed, end of story....no need to use it was fixed conspiracies to try to explain it. Anderson beat him straight up and proved he is at the top of the game.

this article may explain the knock out a little better. Evidently Silva dislocated Forrest's jaw earlier in the fight and the last punch was just the icing on the cake......so much for conspiracies and fixed fights
