MREs

Just got to thinking about the Armys MREs and zoning...(hey it's Sat...my day off....I can waste my time on whatever I want. )

Approximate Nutritional Values (based on the average of 6 menus) Net Protein = 25g = 3.6 Blocks
Carbohydrates = 149g = 16.6 Blocks
Fat = 32g = 10.7 Blocks
Calories = 933

LOL, I figured they'd be low in protine and you could just shove some Jerky in ya Ruck, but good luck with ctaching up with a 13 Block difference.

Interesting stuff, anyone thought about this?

There's a few posts out there, but no real meal plan or anything.

Cheer

Sean

Re: MREs

Zoning MREs is doable if you throw out the cookies, potato sticks, bread, and all the other worthless carbs, but you're still eating super-processed foods with all sorts of preservatives. Trying to Zone them would be better than eating everything in the bag, but that's like saying that hitting yourself with a hammer 2 times is better than doing it 4 times.
