Alright, I heard several different things from people and need a little help. I am getting back into crossfit and someone told me I should start with the program starting strength then get into it....I can only go three days a week but got some GREAT ideas already for that but should i start with starting strength program or just do it to it! I am comfortable with all lifts that crossfit does...just wondering!!!!

Re: Starting up....

I've just started the Stronglifts 5x5 program which is quite similar, and I've incorporated the metcons into it; so I'm going to do shorter metcons after my strength workouts 3 days a week and longer metcons on the other 2 days. If you can only hit the gym 3 times a week sure you could do bodyweight metcons at home on the days you can't get to the gym.

Weight lose is mostly diet, get that cleaned up. As far as programming, with the derth of information you've provided, I would suggest Brandx scaled workouts.

Re: Starting up....

Definately look into Paleo diet. Also, if strength is a concern, you can check out MEBB. That would help you at least maintain if not increase your strength while still doing metcon and working on your overall power output.
