I think everyone here is hitting on an important point that you will need adequate rest in order to make sure you are making the gains you desire. I would, however, encourage you to not exclude regular weight training from your workouts.

Check out the Crossfit Strength Bias article in the journal or the MEBB articles on Performance Menu. These will teach you to incorporate weight training in such a way that your main focus is still increased work capacity and you won't burn out as easily.

I would also encourage you read the work of Louie Simmons on (wfs) so that you can learn to bring up your weak points.

I would lean towards body weight workouts primarily, because that's what you're going to be doing the most of. Find a buddy and do some buddy squats if you want.

Mike Watson hit the nail on the head......focus on push ups, pull ups, burpees, dips, sprints..........anything with your body........but a weighted vest to make it more fun.
