Sorry to go back to an old topic but...

Exactly this. This was about a week into my first go at CrossFit, so it didn't end up very successful. In addition I'm very bad at box jumps and push ups, so it was an overall body pain that I wasn't ready for.

Re: Hardest WOD You've Ever Done

At first when I started doing CrossFit I did the Filthy Fifty. By far one of the hardest workouts ever. I havent done it in a while so I really dont know how I would do with it now but when I first did it, it killed me lol

I presumes this means that *you* are 400# ? Fran at any weight is hard, but doing it when you weigh 400# has to be ultra-harsh.

Gotta ask...did you Rx it at 400# ?

I'm still pretty new to CrossFit, (about a month and a half in) and I had a go at the Filthy Fifty last week.* It's absolutely brutal, but in a wonderful way.

*I haven't figured out double unders yet, so I subbed tuck jumps. Otherwise as Rx'd.

Re: Hardest WOD You've Ever Done

200m bear crawl
100m tiger crawl
50m alligator crawl
50m spider crawl

Never did any crawls before, finished in 17:34 (slow). Staying on all fours for that period of time was quite devestating. But today my core feels tight and good!

Kalsu

Just did Kalsu today but with 95#. Not sure about the other workouts but it was brutal!

Re: Hardest WOD You've Ever Done

I'm new to crossfit but wanted to do a hero workout on the 4th of July this year (2 weeks into cf). Chose Small (3 rounds row 1000m, 50 burpees,50 box jumps, run 800m). Took me 55:23 and was destroyed by the burpees. This has been the toughest workout for me.......so far!

Don't even want to think about that one 2 weeks in. My very first WOD was "Bradshaw". I had to scale a lot of it obviously but that was a baptism by fire I had about 6 sessions at my box before jumping into this but I was still realizing how bad my endurance was (compared to what I thought) and this WOD confirmed it. Could do that WOD Rx now and might be a good barometer to see how far I've come (8 months in).

For me, my top three so far are:

Kelly
Dae Han
Hope

Kelly to me is just a lot of suckage. Wall Balls and Box Jumps then running 400's....5 rounds, yuck. Have done this one twice. ps - I'm not an overly fast runner either

Dae Han - I scaled the thrusters to 115. The rope climbs were no picnic but running 800's with that 45 pound bar sucked BAD. Was very happy when this one was over.

Hope just was very hard. I thought I'd do a bit better but after rd 1 I knew I was in for it. Just gassed...scored 175, was thinking 200 going in.

Anyway, so far those are my top three worst so far.

Re: Hardest WOD You've Ever Done

Did a Murph this morning with 2pood kettlebell swings instead of pullups and a Fran instead of the first mile. It made the bottoms of my teeth hurt.
