Mike, as Paulo said, you basically described CrossFitFootball to a T. The Strength WOD is basically SS if you are on the amateur level.
GSLP, 70sBig, 531+CF are other off the top of my head besides Gant's/Oto's hybrid programs which all pretty much require you to figure out your own conditioning. With CFFB, you just look it up. |

It would give you some variety I think.
On my own, I'd end up very similar conditioning workouts week to week I'd say. Not a bad thing but possibly tedious. |

I've been programming my own metcons for about 3 months and haven't repeated one yet so I think I'm ok at it. I just think I did too many and let my strength lifts go off to the side.

I've done both programs, and like I've said twice already, I made more progress faster on GSLP and enjoyed it a lot more.
