Awesome thread!

Try any of those already listed with a heavy sandbag...whole new world of hurt.

Aint that the truth. I decided to do a sandbag run around the park a while back. The total distance I went was 1.5 miles. When I ran I could carry it however I liked and when I walked I had to carry it overhead (I did a lot of this). I'd also stop randomly and do something like "box jumps" on a wall, or push-ups, or weighted situps, or squat clean the bag up a flight of stairs (that was the worst). I probably stopped for additional exercises 10-15 times.

It took me over an hour and I almost just left that #$%%@^&! sandbag out there!! That was entirely a new world of hurt.

Outstanding, Clint! Now that's my type of workout.

Re: Barbell Complexes

Great thread!

Yesterday myself and a couple of other guys did:

7 Deads
5 Rows
3 Cleans
1 Push press/jerk
3 Cleans
5 Rows
7 Deads

No time component but we tried to complete each round unbroken, then rest 2-3 minutes between rounds.

Started at 145# and added 10# per round. I failed at 205# b/c I couldn't get the push press.
