Rogue Wooden Rings

Has anyone any info on the new Rogue Wood Rings? I have the metal Rogue Rings and they are great!!!! The Wood ones sound like something I need but before I jump in I was looking for some feedback. I also have rings from ringtraining and the coaches rings 5 sets altogether in 2 gyms.

Hmm, didn't see these. Pretty good price.

Wood rings can be really nice. They are thick just like the rogues (which isn't what I'd prefer)

Blair,

The current Rogue Wood Ring (WFS) has a 1.25 in. profile diameter and is similar to the Rogue Rings (metal). We have FIG spec wooden rings in the works:

ID-18cm (7.087 in)
Profile Diameter-2.8 cm (1.102 in)

These will be available in about 2 weeks. Like all Rogue gear, these are made in the USA.

Kris

Re: Rogue Wooden Rings

That is good news, indeed! I probably need to swap them with another pair in the gym currently in use (that are of a very strange material and don't take chalk).

I've been looking at wood rings lately (for the past 6 months) but the expense of them is such that I can get two pairs of fitness rings for the same price.

Party on!

Re: Rogue Wooden Rings

The Rogue wooden rings are sweet (fulll disclosure: I was given a set to test).

Been meaning to post up some pics, but in the meantime, they come in a nifty cordura "tactical nylon" carrying pouch, have nice, wide straps, simple buckles, and the rings themselves feel great (and they even smell good!)

Re: Rogue Wooden Rings

Jeff Tucker ordered a pair and his thoughts were as follows: "These wood rings are f'n awesome!"

Kris has spent quite a bit of time bringing these to market, I am pretty excited about these! I think they are a nice compliment to the indestructible OG metal Rogue Rings.

Re: Rogue Wooden Rings

Just ordered my pair of wooden rings. Should be here tuesday! Cannot wait to use them. At my box we have the rogue rings and love them. So we figured we would give the wood ones a shot.
