I cut and pasted a lot of the quotes that showed up in the WOD over the last several years. I collect quotes. I actually did that 3-4 months ago, but it just occurred to me that people might find it interesting, so I'm copying them here. BTW, if you haven't gone over the archive, do it. There are a TON of great links.

John, thanks for those quotes. I liked the Bobby Unser quote on desire. I've concluded that is 90% of it. The problem with most people--and historically that has been true of me as well--is they don't know what they want, deep down in their bones, or they don't have the courage to express their desire, and fight for what they want.

On a lighter note, I ran across a good one the other day from Yogi Berra (quote approximate):

In theory, theory and practice are the same; in practice they're different.

Hell, I'll add a few more people may not have seen:
