Looks pretty good. You need more force as you jump into the receiving position. When standing up from the clean you need to drive your chest up. More and heavier front squats will fix that. All and all form is not that bad work on getting stronger.

Do you mean like pulling myself under the bar and that I'm kind of slow going under it?

Thanks for your comments, I will definitely work on my strength. I've programmed in more strength work now that I'm up on track again. I can see that I drop my chest on the second one, giving me problems to stand up.

Glad to hear you are working on your strength. I will try to post a clip today of one of my athletes jumping into the catch position with force. I think it will be easier for you to see it rather then me try to explain it.

Esa,

Watch Vanev's feet. He does it the best. You went to really jump hard into the bottom. You should be able to hear your feet hit the platform. Wfs

Re: Squat Clean check

Yeah, I understand what you mean now by getting in there with force.
I have that kind of footwork(not as good though) doing power cleans cause my feet move more than they do in the heavier squat cleans(I don't come up as much from the floor as on lighter reps).

I would be afraid to get back to my donkey-kick style I think if I tried too hard on focusing on the force of the footwork. But I'll definetly try to think about it next time I lift and I'll put up a new video.

Thanks Jim

Re: Squat Clean check

I'm back Jim.

I really can't get the footwork done with force when I'm up at higher weights.
I still managed to pull up 100kg, which is a new record for me

But is it enough if you just think about it, so you actively try to be aggressive down even if you stomp into the floor?

Thanks
