Green beans and snow peas, why not?

I realize that strict Paleo forbids the use of legumes, but how about green beans and pea pods? The "bean" portion of these foods are minimal, and you are essentially eating modified leaves. I ask, because I love them, and my home garden produces tons of them.

Unless you suffer from a chronic inflammatory condition, I don't see why not, frankly. No one is making you do strict Paleo except yourself. If you grow your own and enjoy eating them, then I personally don't see a problem.

I'd think green beans would be fine for sure, I don't like pea pods myself, but I'd think they would be fine also. Stay away from the peas themselves, sugar.
